“President Christodoulides, you’re a great friend, and we respect the dialogue with you, in openness and frankness, on the multitude of issues for discussion.
“My dream is for the President of Israel and the President of Cyprus to meet together with the President of Lebanon here. I believe that we should move toward peace in our region while making sure that terror is shunned and removed, and that life thrives between nations and peoples for the well-being of the entire region and the world.
“I bring a message of friendship from Israel, and I hope that together we can enhance further the unique partnership between our peoples and our nations.”
President Nikos Christodoulides:
“Welcome once again to Cyprus. You are not a stranger to us. I am looking forward to our discussion on how to enhance our strategic partnership at all levels. Tourism, trade, security, energy, defense. At the same time, we will exchange views on regional developments in our neighborhood and how we can work together, also with other like-minded countries, in order to create conditions of stability, security, and cooperation.“
